“Everything about this property is a long lost dream come true. This historic home and enchanting garden have the perfect combination of romance and longevity to host a wedding out of a fairytale. The manor and the cottage are exactly what you would hope to find in an old Virginian home with elegance and coziness to embrace your loved ones and set the tone for your wedding weekend. And the gardens… once you’ve seen them in person, you will find yourself wandering them in your dreams. This English, paradisal, and Italian boxwood garden are full of stunning surprises and vignettes for all the family, wedding party, and couple portraits you can imagine. Kim, thank you for letting us enjoy your gorgeous property all weekend. It was an absolute delight to work with you. And I am truly honored to have my family’s history be forever intertwined with this hidden treasure in Loudoun County.”

“Vows were exchanged in the farm’s garden underneath a whimsical gazebo. The best part? After the quick shower, a huge rainbow appeared which guests were able to take in together over drinks and appetizers.”—Jacqueline Tynes, Washingtonian

”We rented this timeless, classic Southern property to attend my sister's wedding in the area. This gracious and comfortable home was the primary gathering place for the wedding weekend and all the special moments associated with it: greeting family, hosting all cocktails and meals, where we excitedly dressed on the morning of the ceremony, even hosted the post wedding brunch. The formal gardens were the perfect backdrop for taking all pre-wedding photographs, and the pool was the perfect spot to cool off and relax before and after the events of each day. We quite literally had the perfect long weekend…” — Amy L., VRBO/HomeAway

“This home was the perfect retreat from a busy schedule of wedding festivities. The numerous bathrooms made getting ready for our activities so much easier. During our down times, the various parlors served as wonderful spaces to relax together. The historical paintings, furniture, and other curiosities made us feel like we stepped back in time adding to our experience…Little Oatlands will always be part of our special memories.” — Elizabeth E., VRBO/HomeAway

“Our family stayed at this beautiful property for a 4-day period to celebrate my son's wedding. The location was perfectly located close enough to Dulles airport for travel and to Leesburg for shopping. Included in our group was an extended family including young children and a senior (my mother). The home was well suited for the merging of the generations and the family units as well as for the preparation for our wedding celebration.

The home was exactly as described but full also of surprises with the interesting and historic layout of the large home, including multiple sitting rooms and patio spaces…The pool and the garden were magical spaces with hedges and butterfly gardens.” —Kathryn F., VRBO/HomeAway
